You may have already found this, but Why Chat has a link on the website that is for consumers- tells you exactly what they can and can not take.

Judgments can last a long time and can be renewed. 80% if all judgments are never collected.

If you are claiming exemptions- always wise to file a notice with the court and a copy to the opposing side. (Always send a copy to the other side- no trial by ambush here) . That way, if they "accidently" attempt to attach exempt property, you can show that they already knew it was exempt. It is much easier to keep the door closed, then round up all the cattle that went wandering after the door was opened.
