Yes, the OC can report to his credit. He needs to dispute it as "not mine". If that doesn't work then he can contact the OC and tell them that he never authorized being added as an AU and they should remove it.

I had trouble with a Providian AU account. I eventually had to file complaints with the BBB and the AG but after that they promptly removed it.
