I called the VZW credit dept

Called the Credit Dept at VZW today. They said it was soley based on the info in my TU file. Nothing to do with old land lines bills.

I have a copy of my TU file from last year and going by what the nice girl told me on the phone its my charge off from CITIcards 3 years ago which is the issue. CITI is the only bad trade line on my TU file.

I didn't think they would care about it since my TU score was above 630 a year ago and probably higher now.
From what I see on: http://finance.groups.yahoo.com/group/whopulledmycredit/ 630 should be enough.

Maybe they raised the bar to like 670?
Of coarse is it realy score driven?
I wonder if I can cut a deal with them?
