something i think you all missed,,a debt is collectable 4ever. maybe not by being sued..but someone can hound you for many years. with that kind of debt, providing you change your spending habits NOW, i would file BK. just my opinion, no one elses. you would get a fresh start..and only have a BK to begin to clear. this i learned the hard way---from doin BK then getting credit cards again and being screwed. so once you do BK, do not repeat the mistakes from before, as i did. but with that much debt, i would wipe it out and start over. personally. my view. one Bk is much better than 20 charge offs, i think anyways. i could be wrong. it lasts longer, yes 3 years longer. but credit can be rebuilt much easier than dealing with CAs..for years..and worrying on lawsuits and odds. imho****:)just once you have the BK, dont make the same mistakes again, cause a charge off after BK ruins ya. totally. i know, i have 3 lol.
