On January 1997 my ex totalled her car ( which was still in my name ) but rewarded to her by the divorce. The car was towed 7 years ago and a collection agency is after me and reporting to a credit bureau. My question is, what kind of debt it is and if I could use the SOL argument. Once it is not a credit card debt nor a written contract I don't know how to use SOL for it.
