oh man this was hysterical. I was going through federal cases this morning and noticed that JBC has been hit hard in court lately. I then went and looked at some documents and I laughed myself silly reading their second defense. Also, JBC has been sued 23 times since the beginning of the year just in federal court. Can you imagine now many times they have been sued in civil and small claims. IT must be astronomical.

Second Defense:
Any violation of the FDCPA, none being admitted by defendant, was not intentional and resulted from a bona fide error not withstanding the maintenance or procedures reasonably adapted to avoid such error.

hahahahaha. You will go to jail. We are adding hundreds on fees on a time barred ficticious debt. we do not need to provide proof of the debt. oopsy did I say that. it was an error. hahaha

JBC is in big trouble. They are getting nailed by connecticut and I had a little talk with a FTC investigator who worked with camco and they are aware of JBC now. Aww how wimpy is that. They settled out of court for $1,100. Looks like they are going for $2200 only in attorneys fees. JBC must be having an early christmas.
