Actually, it depends on state law. In many states the judgment can stay on your report for the ENTIRE TERM of the judgment itself if its unpaid. So, judgments in a lot of states are good for 10 years and are renewable. It IS possible for that judgment to stay on your reports for the entire time it goes unpaid.

Generally though, Marc is right, it will drop off at the usual 7 year mark.
