If you apply for credit, yes the credit grantor can make you pay charge offs in order to get the loan. If you want the loan, you pay the charge offs. OR, you can go to a different lender. However, most lenders will make you pay the charge offs before they give you more credit. Not the same as winning money and the winnings going to charge offs. No, they can not do that. They do need a judgement.
