others will speak on what you should do and answer the validation questions....but i wouldnt have anything to do with a CA who isnt licensed in your state. they arent allowed to have any collection activity ..here in texas, its a bond but no license. i would keep all evidence i have and sue their butts in small claims. seems simple to me..save your energy to validate for the next CA who prolly IS licensed. they are not allowed any collection activity//so they couldnt answer your requests anyways...and it might hurt your lawsuit by seeming to entrap them..my opinion ONLY. im sure others will have more opinions. they will simply send the account back to the OC..or sell it. very common, in my experience. one of mine is already sent on to a second CA..i think if i was you, i would lay low and hope for more evidence against them to send on to my state. dont send the suckers a dime , period. they dont own the debt..never pay a CA. you dont have to dispute to validate, but unless you truly believe it isnt yours..i have heard that it will send them into a sue mode. no, that you received isnt validation, and there is a huge argument continually on what validation really is. this is all only my opinion!
