Drew, Thanks for the insight. When I had the CA compliance guy on the phone, he asked me how he could resovle this situation.....did I want him to send my account back to Chase? I'm almost tempted to write him CRRR and tell him to send it back to Chase and try to negotiate with them. Of couse, they will just probably pass the account to another CA.

I think that once he realized that I couldn't be intimidated and I had him by his family jewels regarding the CA's expired license that he is rethinking his strategey......I still want to sue the jerks, just on general prinipals. I'm not sure exactly what I can sue FOR but I am absolutely livid with their illegal antics.They have voilated every FDCPA on the books. Check out this article:

The good news is that the state licensing board told me that they would send the CA a cease & desist order and inform them that they would have to re-apply as a new applicant.

I really appreciate this site...it's nice to know that I'm not alone, dealing with these outlaws.
