attempted to make some offers to the original creditor with no luck... i have just found out that it was illegal for them to merge and sue... they told me i have 28 days to pay their offer (9700).. i cannot afford that in so little time.. i can do it in 60 days so i was thinking of waiting to file an answer till the last few days and ask for a continuance.. which would give me the 60 days but they told me then they would get a judgment and i would have to pay the full balance of 10,800... i just need some time and they dont understand.
