SOL =Open Acc>>Why chat and everyone else

I sent out why chats SOL letters to 4 collection agencies, That are past the 3 year sol for open acct,I live in WA State. My queston being is it very likely they will challenge me,That the credit cards in question are writen contracts?... And have any other posters recieved feed back from CA after sending SOL letter out Or do they just go away?
