Not having my own plane yet (it's only a matter of time), it's hard for me to cover Florida if I physically have to be in court, unless it was a huge class action to make it worthwhile. However, "paper" cases such as appeals, or helping out another Florida lawyer with motion practice and stuff, is A-OK.

In NC, I can sue out-of-state CAs in whatever county I like under the venue statute here, so it's easy to cover the whole state.

But, y'know, it is a delicious thought to start a class action in FL against some bad people. Maybe I will think on that while enroute to the law library ...
