First, combining accounts is NOT allowed.

Second, the ONLY way they can hang this debt on you, as an AU, is IF they can produce signed charge slips with YOUR signature on them -- ALL of them.

Like WhyChat says, an AU has NO liability for the debt - UNLESS they can prove YOU made the charges and then they have to have ALL of them to prove the amount they are claiming you owe.

No way I'd cop to this. I'd go to court, deny the debt, force Discovery and make THEM prove you owe them anything.
