I THINK you may have a violation of your State's consumer protection laws, and the TILA, as the Dis. benefits under your contract were not paid in a timely manner, and the benefits of the dis. insurance were deceptively marketed to you.

In addition, since TECHNICALLY your last payment or charge on the account was the one made PRIOR to your dis. benefits kicking in,you MAY be able to claim SOL from that date.

I suggest you take an aggresive attitude in this situation and find a consumer lawyer to assist you in filing a counterclaim agaist Discover, NCO and Riddle.
