DIVORCE! Thank God my parents have money and were helping me pay 1/2 my rent. It's been almost 9 years since the divorce and I am FINALLY out of debt! BUT FICO scores are crapola...mid 500's. My parents list 1.5 MILLION in the stock market due to 9-11...it hurt us all where it counts...in the wallet!
