What state do you live in? Check the SOL page linked to this site. What was the nature of the bill from the law firm? Was it a written contract signed by you? If not, you may be out of the woods. Generally, the statutes of the state in which presently apply. Aren't they proactive little bugs? More and more you read postings to do with something falling off, someone applying for a mortgage, followed by a CA letter. Keyser Soze
