60 days would probably depend on your reason:

Example: traveling out of the area for business.
illness or recuperating from surgery
(always good to get a doctor's note i if this is the case)
need time to get your proof together.


As always, it depends on the judge. However, once you are off the regular court calendar, it could easily move into 60 days due to the heavy court schedule.

If requesting 60 days, it is best to give a reason that you are requesting that amount of time. Judges really don't care- they are the "impartial" part of the event.
