The obsolescence period for credit reports starts on the date of first delinquency prior to charge off, it is REQUIRED in the FCRA that the OC furnish this date to the CRA's.

In MOST States, this date is also the start of the "legal" SOL, in SOME States it starts on the last date of any payment made to or charge on the account with the OC.
