Scott Lowery and Colelct America are one in the same. You quit paying the OC ages ago and I will gaurantee you that P.Scott Lowery paid pennies on the dollar for your account. I had a 'payment' plan with them using direct draft and when I had problems and wanted to defer a week they pulled it anyway. I ended upo paying them the reg. $500 AND $500 in over drafts, the house and car bounced and it was hell getting back on track with all the fees. I closed my bank account and told them to Buck off! They more than recovered what they paid and I haven't heard from them since. It's all about the $$$$$$$$$ - donlt; think they give a mouses tush about you. Here's the honorable P. Started by CO (lawyer) Phillip Scott Lowery & family, Collect America (CACV) has risen to the top of the garbage heap, where the smell is as BAD as it gets. I think that "CON-AMERICA" may be a more suitable name for this national association of wasted law licenses. This is THE collection agency to be AVOIDED!! Stop payment, cancel drafting instructions, watch your credit cards, dispute EVERYTHING they place on your credit files under CACV which stands for;'COLLECT AMERICA COLLECTION VEHICLE' These are the REALLY BAD ones!! Phil Lowery has a small army of 'rented law licenses' (attorneys who can't make it in the REAL world) around the country that call and harass consumers with threats of litigation, wage garnishment and seizure. I have been told that he is the most disliked attorney in CO by OTHER CO attorneys.
