MBNA wrote it all off on taxes, you CAN'T pay them off.

P.Scott Lowery have already recieved what they paid - pennies on the dollar. Be generous and do 3cents per $. That's $150 for a $5000 account.

You, like most of us sound very decent and concerned with doing the right thing - being abused and denying your family isn't good for anyone (well for the scum suckers).

Pay 150 and demand 6500 or more is what they do - anything over the 150 is pure profit.
