rose...np. plenty have and will continue to correct me!!! lol.. but ...stupid as it is and sounds..a paid charge off is as bad as unpaid. apparently fair isacc..better known as fico..has no clue. therefore there is no incentive or reason to pay a charge off unless you get sued. even then, at the moment, i dont have the money for that either. paying a CO for the sake of paying it is just not smart. they buy the debts at pennies on the dollar..and will abuse and harass someone without mercy. . it simply makes it stick to your credit worse. the OC has already gotten their money back on tax breaks.. i am learning daily and continuing to learn..as we all are.
it will only reflect a "paid charge off" unless one can negotiate with a CA. im not near smart enuff yet to do that..one has to be hugely careful paying charge offs. hugs***
