You probably signed a new loan agreement. That would restart the SOL. Still, if you are judgement proof..........there is a lot of psychology in debt collection, so they will threaten just about anything, doesn't mean that they can or will carry through. They have to pay attorney and filing fees to get a judgement, so if recovery doesn't look good, they may just not do it. How long have you been paying this 20.00 a month?
