i may be wrong..correct me if i am..dispute with both utility and CRA as not mine. CRA has to provide u with verfication it is your account, but they simply report whatever is sent to the, by the companies. use this verfication to hit the utility company. them get in writing for them to delete reporting it in your name. whether you paid or not is immaterial. whose name its under is the bottom line. go up and ask to see the proof they have, he may well have used your name,. in which case the only way they will take it off is if you file charges against him. talk to the utility company first. good luck!
