It's the MD, the hospital already recieved their money in 1998 when they sent us the original bill for the ER visit. Some how the MD couldn't figure out my address, or so they say.

I will point out to the MD that they need to furnish a copy of my medial record/account information so that I can submit it to the HC provider. I will bring up HIPPA in relation to my medical records being sent to a CA without my consent and or knowledge.

I don't know if I can afford a lawyer, but I'd certainly like to teach them a lesson, especially since we've tried repeatedly to resolve this by paying what we owe.

Thanks for the support and I will keep you all in the loop, I'll probably have more questions as things progress.
