Dear anyone, I just received notification from equifax that a collection account has been added to my report. I received a letter months ago about this debt but ignored it (I new better). I understand that my time for validation is past. What can I do now? My first response is to dispute it with the CRA, as I don't know of any dept that I have for the amount of money that they are asking for or the type of account it is. The CRA is saying last activity was 10/98. Any suggestions,
