I still will advise people to ignore CAs because it is their job to get money. AND when they are doing their job, they are heartless. I didn't know doodley about all of this when I was having my financial problems, but my instincts were right on the money. Reading on the Collection Industry web site, makes me realize one thing though, CAs don't seem to realize that the consumers CAN'T PAY. If we could have paid, our accounts would not be in collections.
