I had the same problem with Citi. I never had an account with Citi. Experian wanted me to prove it. I told them that is their job and I told how to do it by telling Citi to prove it. I am not the one to prove it. That is what they get paid for. I will not do their job for them. Remove it or we go to court. Due to my attitude future inquiries directed to Experian is handled by a special agent.

If Citi does not have a record then you did not have an account. It is as simple as that.
