Lemme get this straight:

You're up against slimy stop-at-nothing counsel for an insurance company ... you didn't know enough to file objections to their RFPs ... you didn't know enough to file a motion to compel discovery when THEY objected to YOUR interrogatories ... they jerked the depo schedule around and claimed YOU didn't show ... you didn't take any of THEIR depositions ... now you're appealing, which has its own little complications ... and if you lose, you have a large judgment against you for 20 years and they can now forcibly sell your assets unless you want to take Chapter 7 ...

... and it never occurred to you to try to find a LAWYER OF YOUR OWN that would have put a stop to it in half a day? Jeez Louise, that would cost you a lot less than being stuck with that judgment. I don't understand this way of trying to save a few bucks and losing much more. I really don't.

That said, I sure hope you succeed.
