No, they could not have forced the sale of your house with PA's tenancy by entirety protection.
I believe PA is one of the states that does NOT allow liens against real property for unsecured debts, so you were protected all the way around.

In most cases, unless you have HUGE equity above the exemptions and you OWE a HUGE amount, creditors will not force the sale of a home. Especially if the home is already mortgaged. Legally its a hassle for them to force a sale, and financially its got to be worth it to them. Its NOT worth it for a creditor with an 8K judgment to go after a property with little or no non-exempt equity.
