Should I dispute old addresses?

I had a lot of bad credit, about 5.5 years ago, and a lot of it is ready to disappear from my credit report in about a year. I am currently needing to dispute a couple things on my credit report and wondered if I should dispute my old addresses too? They were all P.O. boxes. I had heard that if you dispute old addresses and have them removed, then you might make your previous bad accounts prematurely fall off your report? Is this true or ? Any response is appreciated.
