your right JK. its not usually any scam. legal and hey, we owe the debt. the other concerning the illegal phone calls..well, you need proof for that. plus filing fees. they wont send something illegal in writing. lol. the CAs have a perfect right to collect on a debt...even SOL is only for lawsuits. collecting can be forever, should one desire. we created the debts...we owe them. its no scam. they can also put a TL on a CR. fyi*...long as its a legal debt..class actions cost MONEY. and court time. and take years. my opinion only!
