That was in 1996-98 (and it took 50% more class hours than my law degree) so Pan Am was mostly before my time, and so was Eastern, and so was National (Baker is in their former building), but we had instructors who used to work for them. I sure do miss showing up at 7:10 in the morning and working on engines in the powerplant shop just off the end of Runway 9R with 727s blasting overhead. I sure do.
