I am in Austin. I received a letter last month saying that if they didn't hear from me within 10 days then they would file the complaint. I talked to a consumer advocate, and sent them a letter asking for documentation that this was for my account, and I received a lawsuit in return. My last payment was in 2001, so I am still a little shy of my 4 years. I can't close my checking account. Maybe it will just be easier to find a lawyer with a payment plan?
