Need some advise please.
January my DOLA was listed as 1/2000, I disputed as not mine and the DOLA (EQ) changed to 3/2000 and balance rose $18, I disputed again as not mine and the DOLA changed again to 10/2000 balance raised $15. Its now up to around $1,500.
After my first dispute I sent a verification letter to Cap One which was signed for, not a word from them at all, Its been almost 60 days and I believe under Texas codes they have to reply in 30.
I filed a complaint with the Virginia BBB almost a month ago and Cap One has not responded to it yet. Last week I finally sent off a complaint with all my documentation to the Federal Reserve Bank of Virginia.
I have never had an account with Capital One and the opening date is when I was going through my divorce and didn't have any kind of credit. What should my next step be?
Can I take them to small claims court here in Texas and if so how can I locate a registered agent for them?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. This account is driving me crazy!!
