I have been contacted through the fall and jan regarding providian Charge Off 4000.00 I was in the process of settling when the attorney representing Collect America, changed thier minds and said they felt we could pay more. I send a Demand letter in jan for validation, and have not heard a thing yet, or anything on my credit reports. How long do they have to validate. We are going on 100 days. Must they validate, or can they win a jusgement without validation. Can anyone please advise//
