My husband received a collection letter from Capital Management saying they have been engaged by Sherman Acquisition (current creditor)for Discover (previous creditor)for well over $8,000. This card was charged off in 1998 (due to some financial problems).
What letter should I send them...debt validation or a SOL. We live in Pennsylvania.
Who really owns this debt now????
