I owe about $7,500. to MBNA. I offered to make reduced payments, but no go. I now have Wolpoff & Abrahamson (who I understand from this board are the worst) after me threatening to sue. I own (well, 2 mortgages) a house and a car (making payments) and I'm currently employed. Assuming that they will sue and win (because I do owe the money) what can they do to me? Can they somehow take my house? How much of my wages can they garnish? I'm in California, if that makes a difference.
