judgment on credit report

There is a judgment for money owed on my credit report, the judment is from a small claims court case against my contractor and me, my contractor inititally did not pay the subcontractor, the contractor was paid and is now out of business. I do not know whether there is record of the payment of the debt, is there any way I can get this judgment off my credit report?
