I got behind on my mortgage payments. After I got behind I kept sending my company payments and they were sending them back. Checks were crossing in the mail. They have threatened foreclosure, but last week did cash a check I sent them when I wrote them a letter that I could never get caught up if they didn't accept payments. I told them that I would have my account current by June 1. I am two payments behind right now. Can they foreclose in IL if they are now accepting payments? I have heard that if I am paying and they are now accepting them that they can't as long as I get it current. I will appreciate any information. Thanks so much.
