depends on the state, i bet, but i also think they can foreclose soon as one is so many days behind..its in your contract, call and get one person you can deal with..and one only..and tell them whats happening and how hard you are trying. hopefully its not citifinancial, in which case they dont give a crap. i would ask someone..i have never heard of one being able to not accept payments--what was their reasoning? certainly you have a good case for the judge, if that is the case.. call and see if you can straighten it out with someone..in charge..a officer...like that..NOT who answers the phone. not a rep. a real person who has authority. keep all your proofs and receipts.
