If it is sent to a CA, you can IMMEDIATELY send a TOTAL cease and desist. Include in it that you have no assailable assets, and that your only income is from SS disability.

NM Homestead exempt. is $30,000 equity. car $4,000.

You MAY also wish to make sure that your bank has a "flag" on your accounts that shows your $$ are exempt from garnishment.
