Hi Gang,

About a month and a half ago, I sent letters out to two CRAs about a reaged debt that was placed on my credit report. Transunion quickly replied and deleted the account from my report, while Experian has not. What should be my next step? I know that they are required to respond within 30 days of my notice, and since they have failed to do so, should the debt be automatically deleted from my account?

One last Question, I have an old debt that dates back to 1997. I know that the seven year reporting time starts on the first date of delinquency. How can I find out when that date officially began? I want to get this debt off of my credit report ASAP. I am getting different delinquency dates from the credit agencies the debt has been reported to. What to do?

Thanks all for your help!
