I had a very similar situation wih CI. IF you begin to document the calls, the letters, etc., you can get their attention by calling the Director of Compliance at Creditor's Interchange. He's listed on their website. You can also file a complaint with the NY Attornery General's Office...you might find the following site interesting. http://www.oag.state.ny.us/press/2004/jan/jan30a_04.html You can also file a complaint online with the FTC as well as your state licensing authority. What state are you in? Don't let them intimidate you because it's illegal to use such collecting practices. Read up on the FDCPA on this site and sue the hell out of them.
