thanks to both of you - I may wait until after the court date next week cuz I think Asset/Providian are playing a game. In the complaint Asset is the plaintiff as "Assignee of Providian" yet in their affidavit they attached to support it they don't list providian in the caption at all and the "outsource manager" for Asset states they "bought" the debt.

By the way - have either of you ever heard of SVC Moon, LLC with a Michigan number, which just so happens to be where Asset's home base is (269-983-4957). I'm suddenly getting calls every night from them. Of course I don't answer them.
