You are right they can't touch your bank accunts unless they get a judgement, unless they can convince a judge that you will take the money out of the bank to avoid paying the debt. This tends to happen in non garnishment states, such as Texas. Anyway, I would play it safe if I were you. Just my 2 cents. Good Luck
