Out-Of-The-Blue I received a payment demand letter withe the letter head "Merchants' Credit Guide Co." that I owed $96.59. They were a collection agency representing "Genesis Financial Services". The original creditor was "Performance Capital". I had never heard of any of these companys. I have never had any business with "Performance Capital". This is so clearly a scam that it's almost laughable...except they are messing with your credit. I will complain to the BBB and our State's Atty. Gen.
