The last payment on this card was winter 2003. So its not out of limitations. What do you think are the chances of settling this 7600 amount for like 4000 now. I got no choice but to try to come up with it since I dont want a judgement against me. I just want to know that if I file an appearance (they have some balls to charge 120 just for that) does that give me more time to try to settle things. I also want to know when does the judgement hit your credit report? And what are the chances here in Illinois that if they did win the judgement they would freeze my bank acct. I have no real assets they can go after.
