BTW, congratulations on accomplishing this without an attorney. Not an easy feat. Even though the law is on your side, these ca lawyers sometimes try to bluff you into settling a case you will easily win.

For those who are still fighting, another poster went to court several times, refusing to settle or give the other side ammunition in the sham mediation (thanks Keyser for that). Every day for a week before the last court date, they called and offered to settle. When they got court, the judge threw the case out. So, another victory for the people.

Stay the course. Don't give up.

Remember the words of a famous American patriot of the American Revolution who was asked to surrender. His reply:

"Surrender ! I have not yet begun to fight!"
