I agree with you about thinking twice before getting a credit card. The wife and I have really learned our lessons and it's great to have money left over from my paycheck for a change. I get nothing on credit, but a car and we pay cash for anything else. The problem is the credit card companies don't tell you everything in your supposed agreement and disclosure with them and when they made the offer of the credit card to you they had nothing to offer. It is your signature on every charge slip that gives them the money to pay for your purchases. They loan nothing of their own. The Feds print notes that are tender for debts public and private with a perceived value. Your labor is what pays for the debt. I have no remorse whatsover, for not paying the credit card companies. Keep in mind they are also covered by insurance and they get paid by the 3rd Party Vermin and have made plenty with your fees and interest they charge on the supposed value they extended to you.
